Shipping Policy
Effective Date: June 1, 2026
This Shipping Policy explains how Rema LLC handles order processing, shipping, freight delivery, customer pickup, lead times, damaged shipments, and delivery-related charges.
Order Processing
Order processing time depends on the product type, current availability, production schedule, vendor availability, payment status, order size, and shipping method.
Small parts and repair kits typically ship within 1–2 business days when available. Standard replacement return tanks often ship in approximately 1–2 weeks. Larger systems, Burks pumps, Dri-Vac equipment, fabricated items, special-order products, and custom equipment may require additional lead time.
If an item is delayed, unavailable, or requires additional lead time, Rema LLC will contact the customer with available options.
Shipping Methods
Rema LLC ships products using parcel carriers, freight carriers, customer pickup, or other shipping methods depending on product size, weight, destination, packaging requirements, and order details.
Small parts and repair kits may ship by parcel carrier when size and weight allow. Larger pumps, condensate return tanks, boiler feed systems, Dri-Vac systems, fabricated equipment, and other large items may require freight shipment.
Freight Shipments
Freight shipments may require a commercial delivery address, loading dock, forklift, or liftgate service. Customers are responsible for confirming that the delivery location can safely receive the shipment.
Additional freight charges may apply for residential delivery, limited-access delivery, liftgate service, inside delivery, redelivery, storage, appointment delivery, or other carrier accessorial services.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges may be calculated at checkout, quoted separately, or invoiced depending on product type, destination, shipping method, and order size.
Freight charges may vary based on carrier rates, shipment dimensions, weight, delivery location, and required services. Additional charges may apply if the carrier bills Rema LLC for services requested or required at delivery.
Lead Times
Lead times shown on the website, quotes, or order communications are estimates unless specifically confirmed in writing. Lead times may change due to production schedule, vendor availability, factory stock, freight conditions, payment status, or other circumstances outside Rema LLC’s control.
Customers should contact Rema LLC before ordering if timing is critical.
Customer Pickup
Customer pickup may be available by prior arrangement from Rema LLC in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Customers must contact Rema LLC before pickup so availability, packaging, loading requirements, and pickup timing can be confirmed.
Damaged Shipments
Customers should inspect all shipments before signing for delivery.
If visible damage is present, note the damage on the carrier delivery receipt before accepting the shipment. Take photos of the packaging, pallet, product, and any visible damage. Contact Rema LLC immediately with your order number, photos, and a description of the damage.
For freight shipments, failure to note damage with the carrier at delivery may limit the ability to file a freight claim.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, contact, and delivery information. Rema LLC is not responsible for delays, additional charges, or delivery problems caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
Delivery Delays
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing. Delays may occur due to carrier delays, weather, freight issues, product availability, vendor lead times, production schedule, payment status, or other circumstances outside Rema LLC’s control.
