Description
Burks ED11MV Base Mounted Turbine Pump End, Viton Seal
The Burks ED11MV base mounted turbine pump is part of the
Burks ED Series of base mounted regenerative turbine pumps. This listing
is for the ED11MV pump end only with Viton seal and gasket.
The ED11MV is designed for low-flow, high-head applications using clean,
non-corrosive, non-abrasive, lower-viscosity liquids. Typical applications
may include boiler feed, condensate return, heat transfer, hot and cold water
circulation, pressure boosting, high pressure spray, and similar services
when the pump curve and system conditions are properly verified.
This pump end uses bronze fitted construction, a bronze impeller with Monel
blades, 2-1/2" NPT suction, 2" NPT discharge, and a Viton mechanical
shaft seal. Browse other

Important Ordering Note
This ED11MV listing is for the pump end only. Motor, coupling,
base, coupling guard, and assembled base-mounted pump package components
are not included unless quoted separately. Confirm the required motor
horsepower, voltage, phase, enclosure, coupling, base, and guard before
ordering a complete pump assembly.

Installation & Selection Tips
Confirm that the required duty point falls within the approximate
31–60 GPM and 20–360 ft head performance
range. Verify suction conditions, inlet pressure, fluid temperature, viscosity,
material compatibility, and available NPSH before ordering.
A suction strainer is recommended to help prevent chips, scale, and hard foreign
particles from entering the pump and damaging the raceway or impeller. For boiler
feed, condensate return, heat transfer, pressure boosting, high pressure spray,
or circulation service, confirm the full system requirements before selection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the ED11MV a complete pump with motor?
This listing is for the ED11MV pump end only. Motor, coupling, base, coupling
guard, and complete base-mounted assembly components are not included unless
quoted separately.
What are the connection sizes?
The ED11MV has a 2-1/2" NPT suction connection and a 2" NPT discharge
connection.
What performance range does this pump cover?
The approximate ED11MV curve range is 31–60 GPM with head from about
20–360 ft. Final selection should be checked against the individual pump curve.
What seal and gasket material does this model use?
The ED11MV uses a Viton seal and gasket configuration.
Can this be used for boiler feed or condensate return?
Yes, the ED Series may be used for boiler feed or condensate return service
when the required flow, head, temperature, pressure, suction conditions, and
material compatibility are within the pump limits.
